We know it’s hard to be away from home, especially for medical reasons, and we want you to be as comfortable as possible. If you have scheduled an appointment with us from another town, here are some of the nearby hotels that allow dogs:
The Kingsley Bloomfield Hills
The Kingsley Bloomfield Hills—A Doubletree by Hilton is a beautiful local hotel that allows up to two dogs in any standard room with a single king or two queen beds. There is a fee of $150 per pet, but the hotel is located just five minutes from downtown Birmingham, and has multiple dining options. It also has an indoor salt pool, a fitness center, and free parking. Cats are also welcome, and you can leave pets alone in your room as long as they are crated.
Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomfield Hills
Up to2 dogs and/or cats are welcome at Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomfield Hills. Service animals are also welcome. There is a non-refundable charge of $75 per stay for 1-4 nights, and $125 for 5 or more nights.
Sonesta Select Detroit Novi
The Sonesta Select Detroit Novi allows up to two dogs of any size for an additional $75 for your stay. The hotel even provides important accessories like pet beds, bowls, waterproof mats, and treats that they will give you when you check in. They do not allow cats, though. The hotel is located close to the Twelve Oaks Mall, Suburban Collection Showplace, and the Novi Ice Arena. There is also a Sonesta Suites hotel in Auburn Hills.
My Place Hotel
My Place Hotel Wixom Novi Detroit is a short and long-term hotel in the area that happily welcomes two pets up to eighty pounds. There is an additional fee of $15 per night per pet. Pets are not allowed in the rooms on their own. Each room is equipped with a small kitchen, and the property has on-site laundry facilities. If you have a pet that needs extended veterinary treatment, this might be a great option for you.
Residence Inn by Marrriott Pontiac Auburn Hills
The Residence Inn Pontiac Auburn Hills allows up to two pets 75 pounds or under per room for a non-refundable fee of $100 per stay. Service animals are exempt.
Red Roof Inn Auburn Hills/Rochester Hills
Red Roof Inn Detroit Rochester Hills allows two pets up to eighty pounds with no additional charge. The hotel welcomes both dogs and cats, but they do not let animals stay in rooms alone. The property has a grassy area to accommodate your dog’s bathroom needs. The hotel is completely smoke free, and they offer special pricing if you are staying five nights or more.
